1. Lost
I watched this series a few years ago but was not able to complete the series due to an upcoming exam, but I finally got the opportunity to watch it when Netflix added Lost. As soon as I started the first episode, I kept wanting to see what happens next.
Lost is a must-watch classic. A plane crashes on a strange island, and the survivors soon realise the island is hiding secrets.
Each character has a story, and the show jumps between past and present. There’s mystery, survival, action, and drama.
You’ll quickly connect with the characters. The story gets wild in later seasons, but it’s still worth it.
If you enjoy twists and don’t mind some confusion, this is a great pick.

2. Behind Her Eyes
I stumbled on this series in 2023. This British mini-series is short but full of suspense. It starts as a love triangle
between a single mom, her boss, and his wife—but nothing is as it seems.
The show dives into dreams, mind games, and secrets. The final episode has a huge twist that you will either love or hate.
If you enjoy psychological drama and stories that make you think, this is perfect series to check it out. It’s only six episodes, so you can binge it fast.

4. Sacrifice
Sacrifice is a BET+ show now available on Netflix in some regions.
It follows a lawyer named Daniella Hernandez who works with celebrities, but also has a dark past. There’s drama, murder, secrets, and legal chaos. If you enjoy shows with strong female leads and a mix of law, mystery,
and action, this will pull you in. It’s fast-paced and very stylish. The music and fashion also add to the vibe.

5. The Night Agent
This is a classic political thriller. A low-level FBI agent answers a phone that never rings—then everything changes.
There are conspiracies in the White House, chases, and secrets that go deep. It’s a mix of Jack Ryan and Bodyguard, but with a younger lead. If you love stories where you don’t know who to trust, and the action keeps going,
this is a great binge. Clean, tight writing and fast-moving.

6. Who Is Erin Carter?
This one is about a quiet school teacher in Spain who hides a big secret—she’s not who she says she is. When there’s a robbery, Erin fights back like a trained fighter.
The story then unfolds around her past, crime, and how far she’ll go to protect her daughter. It’s a great mix of action, drama, and suspense. The setting is beautiful too.
A fun watch if you like mystery and strong female leads.

7. Kaleidoscope
Watch this series in any order—literally. Kaleidoscope is about a massive heist, and Netflix lets you watch the episodes in any sequence, except the last one.
Each episode is named by a colour and gives you a piece of the full story. The show mixes drama, action, and puzzles.
Some episodes are better than others, but overall it’s a cool idea and fun to try. If you like crime shows with a twist, try it out.

8. Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area
This is the Korean version of the famous Money Heist show. It keeps the red jumpsuits and masks, but adds a new twist with Korean politics and culture.
The story follows robbers who take over the mint in a united Korea. There’s action, hostage drama, and clever planning.
The cast does a great job. Even if you’ve seen the original, this one feels fresh and worth watching. Great pacing and tension throughout.
9. Bodyguard
This British series is a high-stakes thriller. A war vet becomes the bodyguard for a powerful politician, but their relationship gets complicated.
There are explosions, secrets, and nonstop tension. It’s only six episodes, but every one is packed with drama.
If you like shows that are smart, political, and full of edge-of-your-seat moments, this one is for you.
The lead actor also gives a standout performance. A solid, serious drama with great writing.

10. The Recruit
A young CIA lawyer is thrown into spy games in his first week on the job. The Recruit is full of action, secrets, and some humour too.
It’s not as serious as other spy shows, but that makes it fun. Think Jason Bourne meets Suits. The story is fast, and you won’t get bored.
There’s also great chemistry between characters. If you want something light but thrilling, this is a good series to try.
