Is a legal thriller television series created by Peter Nowalk. The show follows Annalise Keating, a brilliant and charismatic law professor, and her group of ambitious and competitive law students. As they navigate their studies and the complexities of the legal world, they become entangled in a web of murder, deception, and intrigue.

2023 has been yet another busy year, so much! I barely had time to fully relax except for the occasional weekends, which always flew by in the blink of an eye.

It has also been a year where I often switched off from social media and had minimal human connections.

You probably wondered if the blog is still up in running, don’t worry blogging is still something I plan to stay committed to. There were months after my last post that I wanted to complete some of my new projects, however majority of the time I’d be too tired or simply did not want to put too much pressure on myself.

When the December holiday finally arrived, I thought I’d jump into my projects and publish again, but my body screamed for a well-deserving rest. I decided to be a couch potato for the majority of December.

Almost every day after doing spring cleaning, I just lay on my couch and completely switch off from almost everything around me, trying to rejuvenate from the busy, chaotic, and yet demanding year that 2023 brought.

After some days I finally managed to find something relaxing to do. Which not only captured my attention but also seemed to awaken some energy in my passions again.

That’s when I stumbled upon the “How to get away with murder” series on Netflix.

It’s one of the latest by Shonda Rhimes, who is an American screenwriter and producer of shows such as Gray’s Anatomy and Scandal.

I’ve seen the ‘How to get away with murder’ snippet in the Netflix recommendations for months yet I never dared to watch the series, until trying the pilot of the show, which resulted in me completing the series in days.

The show will keep you on your knees! With jump-cutting dialogues, and non-linear narratives. Dialogues that is so fast-paced, that if you miss a beat you will miss a plot point.

I thought it would be a documentary-like show in the beginning, however with the engaging drama, it can pull you in as the audience, and it has a great layout of storytelling.

The show stars Viola Davis as Analise Keating, who is so amazing at playing the lead role. She is a law school professor and also a practicing lawyer and is teaching her students how to get away with murder, my other favorite character is Frank, who is like a right-hand to Analise.

As an audience, you will often be visited with scenarios where clients are potentially guilty. But as the saying goes guilty only untill proven. You will question your morals while watching the show, but it’s a great show and a must-watch.
